What would your brand look like if it were a box of cereal? It sounds daft but thinking about your brand in this way encourages you to see what users think your main priorities are – this is often quite different from what you’d think. Give people a blank template of a cereal box and get them to sketch what should be on the packaging. You can give prompts like “what’s the slogan?”, “what are the top ingredients”, “what free toy do you get inside?”. This is a great way of seeing what users think your main message is and in what areas they think you deliver most value. It’s also a great tool to use on internal stakeholders to get them thinking about your brand in a fresh way.
