The brief
To develop a consumer-friendly brand and communication materials to encourage people to commit to participating in this ground-breaking longitudinal study over 20-odd years.
Our approach
We advised NatCen (and its partners ISER and ESRC) to make people feel part of something very special, and show how their involvement will make a difference to people’s lives in the future through shaping Government policy.
The result
While participation numbers are still being calculated, the number of people spontaneously opting out of the survey on receipt of the initial direct mailer appears to be lower than normal. Interviewers have reported back that they like the new materials and branding and are finding them useful.
