St George's Medical School wanted to offer training to community workers (such as the police, fire brigade and social workers) to help them
recognise and manage people with personality disorder.
Our brief was
to make existing training manuals available online, but we advised
our client to develop an online training tool for this audience that
teaches through pictures, instead of words.
Over 120 storyboards were
drawn in total, with each scenario depicted by a series of eight
images. Users are asked to look at the image and read a short synopsis
of the situation before answering a multiple-choice question.
